The ELTA Program, funded by the K-12 Education Administration of the Ministry of Education and run by regional teams in Northern, Central, and Southern Taiwan, recruits international students studying in Taiwan as part-time English Language Teaching Assistants. ELTAs work with public elementary and junior high schools to create an English-speaking environment, giving students more opportunities to practice English and improve their listening and speaking skills.
Since its launch in 2021, more than 1,000 international students have joined the program across Taiwan, and the number continues to grow!
