【OIA】NTUST X JICTS - Culture Exchange Program

Are you willing to share the most incredible culture of your country with senior high students? Come to join the “Culture Exchange Program” and to create fun memories with students from Jhangshu International Creative Technical High School!

 

  1. Date: Wednesday, 5th November, 2025.
  2. Time: 08:20a.m. - 10:20a.m.
  3. Eligibility: International students enrolled in Taiwan Tech
  4. Host: Jhangshu International Creative Technical High School, Taiwan Tech
  5. Location: Painting Classroom, 2nd Floor, Xinyi Building, in Jhangshu International Creative Technical High School, New Taipei City
  6. Registration: Please fill out the FORM before 9 AM October 16th. Confirmed attendees will receive a confirmation letter from OIA on event details.

    We sincerely invite international university students from around the world to step into the Multimedia Department in our school and join our students on a journey of cross-cultural exchange and creative design!

In this activity:

✨ Cultural Exchange: Our students will introduce Taiwan’s cultural features in English, while international students will also share about their home countries, inspiring ideas from both sides.

✨ Creative Decoupage: Using the Decoupage technique, Taiwan’s cultural elements will be combined with global cultural inspirations. Professional teachers from the Multimedia Department will guide participants in the creative process to design a unique “Cultural Bag.”

✨ Cross-National Collaboration: Through group discussions, hands-on practice, and presentations, students from both sides will interact in English throughout the event, cultivating international perspectives and collaborative skills.

This is not just a bag—it is a “bag-to-bag” exchange that carries stories, culture, and friendship!

【6 international students needed】
  1. Introduce the significant cultural symbols and icons of their home countries (such as architecture, clothing, cuisine, festivals, arts, etc.) through presentations, images, real objects or oral sharing.
  2. Collaborate with our students to design and create the “Cultural Bag-to-Bag” product, and share the design concept at the end of the session.
  • Each international student will receive dessert box from CTJHS.
  • The International students will need to pay for the transportation expense. Taiwan Tech will reimburse the fee thereafter. (Please retain the receipts and submit to OIA.)
