Rikkei - Thailand Student Scholarship Program

1. Purpose
This scholarship aims to support Thai international students in pursuing higher education, enhancing their professional skills, and promoting academic and economic exchanges between Taiwan and Thailand. By providing financial assistance, the scholarship alleviates the learning burden of promising students, encouraging them to focus on academic and skill development. It is expected that awardees will contribute back to society after completing their studies. It will be divided into two programs: (1) the Internship Program and (2) the Elite Program.


2. Scope/Eligibility
Thai international students who are about to enroll or are currently enrolled in undergraduate or graduate programs.

3. Scholarship Amount
Upon approval, Rikkei will provide the following scholarship support for each eligible student: NT$100,000 per year.

4. Internship Obligations
During the winter or summer break, scholarship recipients are required to complete a 160-hour internship (40 hours per week for 4 weeks) at a Rikkei-affiliated company in Thailand. During the internship, the company will assign relevant departments to provide training and guidance, helping students gain practical experience and enhance their professional skills, thereby laying a solid foundation for future career development.
P.S. Rikkei will provide airfare for students going to Thailand for their internship and assist in arranging local accommodation and insurance.

5. Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must meet the following conditions:
1. Have not been disciplined during their academic or stay in Taiwan.
2. Have not received Rikkei - Thailand Student Scholarship Program.

6. Application Process
1. Complete the scholarship application form and submit it to Rikkei office.
2. The eligibility review consists of two stages: document screening and in-person interview. Students who pass the document screening will be notified separately of the interview schedule and will be informed of the final results afterward.
3. Students who are awarded the scholarship must complete the contract signing process with the company; otherwise, it will be considered a forfeiture of the award.
