NTUST X DCSH Hands Together Culture Exchange Program


【OIA】NTUST X DCSH – Culture Exchange Program (sharing with Taiwanese high school students)

Are you willing to share the most incredible culture of your country with senior high students? Come to join the “Culture Exchange Program” and to create fun memories with students from Taipei Municipal Dazhi High School!

 

  1. Topic: share some cool cultural features of your countries with junior/senior high school students
  2. Date & Time: Thu., Dec. 12th or 19th, 2024 14:00-16:00 & Tue., Dec. 24th, 2024 12:10-13:10
  3. Eligibility: International student enrolled in Taiwan Tech
  4. Host: Taipei Municipal Dazhi High School & Taiwan Tech
  5. Location: MRT Dazhi Station / Taipei Municipal Dazhi High School
  6. Registration: Please fill out the FORM before 9 AM Dec. 5th. Confirmed attendee will receive a confirmation letter from OIA on event details.

Greetings and pre-event interview

Before the culture chit-chat begins, participant from NTUST is required to join the pre-event interview with our CPYAs since they will be providing the Chinese version of your speech.

  • Say hi to each other
  • Speakers share what they would like to share in the culture chit-chat and briefly talk about their country for our CPYAs to know more about you.
  • Can be done online or in person at Dazhi High School
  • The International student will need to pay for the transportation expense.
  • Each international student will receive attendance fee of 1,000 NTD, from DCHS.

Tuesday, December 24th

Culture Chit-chat Day

12:10-13:10
  • Participant SHOULD come to Dazhi High School in person.
  • The whole event will last no more than 50 minutes.

    • Love chatting and sharing with others
    • Easy-going and willing to share & learn the culture of their countries & Taiwan
  • What we do:

The program is collaborated with 17 Cobalt Plume Youth Ambassadors (CPYAs) in DCSH (Dazhi Senior High School), and we aim at:

    • Providing a real-time opportunity for high/junior school students to learn other country’s culture right from a foreigner, hoping that both the foreign speakers and Taiwanese students can make friends with each other by exchanging culture.
    • Inviting foreigners to share some cool cultural features of their countries with junior/senior high school students to broaden their horizons and learn about the differences between Taiwan and other countries.
