【OIA】NTUST X NGHS - Culture Exchange Program
Are you willing to share the most incredible culture of your country with senior high students? Come to join the “Culture Exchange Program” and to create fun memories with students from Taipei Municipal Nan-Gang High School!
- Date: 20th October & 3rd November,2023.
- Time: 12:20 – 14:20
- Eligibility: International students enrolled in Taiwan Tech, who stayed/will stay over 183 days in Taiwan in 2023.
- Host: Taipei Municipal Nan-Gang High School
- Transpotation: OIA will arrange the trasportation. The meeting point will be sent to selected applicants before the event.
- Registration: Please fill out the FORM before 23:59, Oct. 1st. Confirmed attendees will receive a confirmation letter from OIA on event details. Please note that the form may close earlier than anticipated if all available spots have been filled.
NOTE: Please prepare your presentation slides (PowerPoint or PDF format) one week prior (13th & 27th October) to the event for translation!!

- 12:20-12:30 Ice breaking with 10 international foundation year students (IFYs +SVIEP)
- 12:30-13:10 International students will need to think about what he/she would like to talk on the topic. He / she will then need to share and discuss the details with IFYs, so the IFYs will be able to provide a real-time-Chinese verbal translation of the speech to the audience during the speech.
- 13:10-14:20 Each international student will need to give a 20 mins talk in front of 150 senior high school students. The topic is “My country’s food culture”
- PowerPoint slides for Culture Speech (20 mins)
- Q&A (10 mins)

- Each international student will receive attendance fee of 2,000 NTD from NGHS.
- The International students will need to pay for the transportation and meal expense. Taiwan Tech will reimburse the fee thereafter. (Please retain the receipts.)
