Call for Applications – Polytechnique Montréal (Canada) - 2026 Winter Research Internship Program

We are pleased to officially launch our 2026 Winter Research Internship Program and look forward to welcoming your students to Polytechnique, one of Canada’s top 3 engineering institutions.

Program Highlights:

• 96 research projects offered in 7 engineering fields.
• 25 scholarships are available annually (up to a maximum of 6,000 CAD for 4 months; 1,500 CAD/month).
• Project listings, eligibility criteria, and application procedures are available via our application platform and in the program brochure (.pdf).

Internship Duration, Start Dates, and Orientation:

• Maximum duration: four (4) months.
• 4 possible starting dates in January and February 2026.
• Internships kick off with a welcome session (matched to respective internship dates requested on the application form).

Application Process:

1. Applicants submit the  Nomination Form (.xlsx) to Ms. Weihua (weihua@mail.ntust.edu.tw) at the Office of International Affairs by August 4, 2025. Please ensure all documents from nominated students comply with the requirements outlined in the Instructions Guide (.pdf).
2. OIA will nominate up to 5 students to Polytechnique Montréal. Only nominated students will be considered.
3. Nominated students must submit their application individually via our online application platform before August 25, 2025, at 23:59 (EST).

Key Dates:

• Early September: Results will be sent to you directly.
• Partners are responsible for informing their nominated students of the results.
• Selected students must plan to arrive the weekend before the start of their internship, but not earlier—due to the 120-day work permit restriction.
