2022 Taiwan Tech Gender Equality Video Contest

“It is time that we all see gender as a spectrum instead of two sets of opposing ideals.”

 

The Office of International Affairs is excited to launch the video competition on the theme of “Gender Equality!”

To promote Taiwan Tech community’s understanding of gender equality, to eliminate gender discrimination and to establish a gender equality environment of both education and work, the OIA would like to invite all of you to join the contest by using your creativity and to tell us more about “Gender Equality” from your perspective.

 

The video story around the theme of “Gender Equality” are listed below but not limited to:

• Gender equality
• Gender stereotype
• Culture shock for gender
• Sexual harassment
• LGBTQ

Who can participate?

Full-time international students (degree & exchange) currently enrol at Taiwan Tech.

Awards & Prizes

5 videos will be selected by the jury. Videos submitted can use any style and technics (film, animation, stop motion …), but cannot be longer than 3 minutes. Any type of equipment can be used, from cell phone to camera. Please ensure that image and sound quality is enough, as Taiwan Tech might use your video for promotional purposes.

First Prize: NTD 15,000 (paying withholding tax 20% of the total amount)

Honorable Mentions: Special gift x 4

Video submission deadline: April 29, 2022, 17:00

How to enter the video competition?

Create a 3 minutes maximum video, telling a story about gender equality

Each contestant can submit only one video

The videos can be in your mother language but need to have English subtitles to enter the competition

Agree with the Terms of Participation. * Please read the Terms & Conditions carefully before entering this competition.

Submissions will be accepted before 17:00, April 22, 2022.

Submission: Email your Name, Student ID Number, Email Address, Mobile Phone Number, Video Title, and the link to your video file to robin80519@mail.ntust.edu.tw before 17:00, April 22, 2022.
