ASUS Scholarship Program for Taiwan Tech    

ASUS and Taiwan Tech launched a new scholarship program for international students to pursue their education and future careers in Taiwan. The ASUS Scholarship Program targets applicants for master’s programs in electronics, information technology, or management-related disciplines. The scholarship includes a living stipend, opportunities to join internships and job training programs by ASUS during the two-year master’s program. After graduation, a two-year position at ASUS might be offered to scholarship awardees.

Eligibility

  • Bachelor degree holders from all countries, including Overseas Chinese and applicants from Hong Kong and Macao, who apply for admission to a Taiwan Tech graduate program (full-time programs only)
  • Application is restricted to graduates in the fields of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Management, Design, or closely related fields.
  • Required application documents: Please check the website of the department that you wish to apply for.
  • Not eligible are applicants
    • Who already receive other forms of financial aid from Taiwan Tech or the Taiwan government
    • Who are concurrently enrolled at Taiwan Tech and another university in Taiwan or who engage in full-time paid employment in Taiwan

Scholarship Value

  • Waiver of tuition fees for a maximum of two years of study.
  • A subsidy for a return ticket (economy class) to Taiwan (maximum NTD 60,000)
  • Living allowance: Scholarship awardees will receive a living allowance of NTD 12,000 per month for a maximum of two years of study.
  • Subsidy for Chinese language courses (maximum NTD 20,000) Study upon proof of course registration and minimum of 80% course attendance. 
  • A two-year position at ASUS might be offered to scholarship recipients after graduation
