The Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) has announced that the requirement to scan a QR code for contact tracing at public and business venues has been canceled, people in Taiwan are encouraged to install and use the Taiwan Social Distancing app on their mobile devices (available on both Google's Android and Apple's iOS operating systems) to prevent the spread of COVID-19 while continuing to open up the country.
